Mildred Zorman Honored as Kuma at St. George Slava 2006

Hardworking and faithful parishioner Mildred Zorman was the honored Kuma at the St. George Church in Carmichaels, Pennsylvania on May 7, 2006. Mildred's daughter Susan, a teacher, travelled from Arizona to be with her mother on this special occasion. Son Louis, a retired federal corrections officer, was on hand as were Mildred's sisters and nieces and hephews.

Following the Divine Liturgy, the Procession around the Church and the Blessing of the Kolac and Koljivo, the banquet and program were held in the church hall. Executive Board President Vice Dr.Ivko Dimitric recogized Kuma Mildred and presented her with an icon of the Lord Jesus Christ. Choir and Kolo President Sonia Janson commended Mildred for her faithfulness and dedication to the St. George Church.

Parish Nurse Practioner Millicent Mitzie Hunchuck added her were words of congratulations for Kuma Mildred.

Mildred Zorman is not only a hard worker for the church, she is a faithful church attender including major feasts and she is a regular Bible reader. Stan Brozik, Executive Board President, has great respect for Mildred's contributions to the St. George Church.

May God grant Kuma Mildred many, many years of good
