A Thought From Very Reverend Stavrofor Srboljub Jockovich

This Great Lent we will remember the rest of our life. The fire in our Monastery Hilandar on Mount Athos, and the burning of the most valuable treasure of our Holy Church came as a great shock. Rapidly following the tragedy at Hilandar was the ethnic cleansing of Serbian People in Kosovo and Metohija with the destroying of 20 (the number is now actually higher) churches and monasteries. More than 7,000 Serbs have been expelled from more than 30 Serb settlements.
