John 1:1-17

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. (KJV)

Christ is Risen! Indeed He is Risen!

Christ is Risen! He is Risen Indeed! The world is changed forever. Hope and light replace despair and darkness. Gloom and doom are cast away. Indomitable joy abounds.

The Risen Christ triumphs over death. The Risen Christ establishes enduring hope for everyone. Believers know of Christís Resurrection in their hearts, minds and souls.

Christís Resurrection changes lives forever. (Mk. 16:6) Christís raising of Lazarus changed the lives. (Jn. 11:43-44) Christ raising the son of the widow of Nain changed lives. (Lk. 7:14-15)

Christís Resurrection is comprehensible according to the degree of faith. Learning of and experiencing Christís Resurrection is lifetime work. As a person grows in faith, the Resurrection takes on greater meaning.

Great Lent and Holy Week prepare believers for the celebration of Pascha. Everyone is invited to share in the celebration of Pascha. Pascha benefits every person.

Believers are encouraged to join in the Churchís extended celebration of Pascha. The radiance of Pascha is unlimited and reaches well beyond the day of the Feasts of Feasts.

Souls are richly nourished beyond belief on Pascha. Minds are filled with the most wonderful of thoughts of the Risen Christ and the Empty Tomb. Hearts overflow with joy at the greeting: ďChrist is Risen!Ē

Aged believers attest to the miracle of all miracles, Christís Resurrection. Young believers welcome the news of Christís Resurrection. Believers share the joy of the Resurrection in their daily relationships.

Churches in countries around the world share the same announcement. Believers greet each other in common and unified joy. ďChrist is Risen! He is Risen Indeed!Ē

Treasure Christís Resurrection above all treasures. Guard belief in the Crucified and Risen Christ with every ounce of strength. Experience the ever-new and unending life in Christ known best through His Resurrection.
